Support us as an individual
There are a number of ways you can support the campaign, not just by donating (if you want to donate, please click here!) – here, we will tell you how:
1. Spread the word! Perhaps even greater than a donation itself. Please, suggest our Facebook Page to everyone you know. Tell people about us, or head over to our resources page and print off a poster – put it up at your local shop, at work, anywhere! If you have a website – please copy the code to display one of our badges or banners. Talk about us on Twitter, Facebook, like our blog posts – any help would be amazing!
2. Approach companies. Ok, so we have already said “Spread the word!” but this one is particularly important. We are currently seeking corporate sponsorship (see below) – if you know anyone involved with a company and can put in a good word for us, please do so.
3. Join in. There is nothing to stop anyone joining in. Start an event of your own, or join in on any of our existing events! Some have entrance charges, but you can use the money you raised to cover this and donate any excess to the campaign. Please, get involved. We’ll stick you on our team page – just let us know!
Corporate Sponsorship
Currently to see Team Bertz get through all 23 events, to cover entrance fees, equipment and various other costs – the current total is estimated at £8500. This has already been greately reduced with some brilliant sponsors on board, but we need more corporate support!
In return based on the investment your company makes, we will attempt to give our sponsors as much exposure as possible. Set to explode into media territory with a number of press releases and PR contacts we have on board already, we will drop our sponsors names at every possible moment…on Local and National press/radio. In addition, we will make sure your company gets guaranteed exposure via the following:
1. Company Logo prominently displayed on the front page of our website.
2. Blog posts about each new sponsor that joins us, what services they offer and how they are supporting the campaign
3. Full colour logos printed on our team t-shirts
4. Banners and flyers printed with our big sponsors that will be handed out during events
5. Your company printed on all our gear/clothing, including waterproofs and hoodies – for the hiking challenges, taking your companies name to every event we are participating in – across the both the UK and Europe! This includes large company logos printed on our banger cars for the rally!
